Our new favorite place to stay in Palo Alto. The hotel was great! The bed was comfortable, best sleep ever. Really enjoyed that they had onsite restaurant Soleil, no need to go somewhere else.
There's bad smell in some areas.
-
This time it was an excellent stay for us. It was conveniently located. There's a great selection of restaurants to choose from, like howie's artisan pizza, set within 5 minutes walk or so. It was worth its 4 stars.
-
Hotel is very clean. The venue is in a very convenient location and it was easy walk to the local attractions. We truly enjoyed a good restaurant. Wonderful base for exploring Palo Alto.

We were pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The staff was very friendly and professional, It was quaint, centrally located, the bedding was amazingly comfortable, I felt like I was in my home, even better. Congratulations for an amazing hotel that gave us an amazing experience. I will look for WESTIN next time I travel anywhere.

The front desk person was exceptional at check in
-
The bed was very comfortable.
They had my booking as one night and I had booked for two nights. Luckily, I had my printout from bookings.com but there is some probably between your systems. It was well handled by the front desk.

Close proximity to Stanford University. Excellent big bathroom with an excellent shower separate from the bath tub. Very good exercise room. Very comfortable bed.
Price. Additional charge for internet. Unusually poor information provided in the room concerning such things as available television channels and fees for using the telephone. Lack of seating other than the desk chair. Too much noise from hallway--door to short--perhaps from a day when the carpets were thicker.
-
Bathroom, Good comfortable bedding with a large room good
Generally overpriced in all categories. Chargeable internet access
-
It is located across the street from Stanford Stadium.
Room tv would not access espn 3 even though the front desk said it was on the tv schedule and it was available on tv at the restaurant next door.

I love the assortment of pillows provided. I always have a problem finding the right pillow to sleep with, but they had one. Best ever.
My bed was a little too firm, but after they added an extra pad, I was fine.
-
Full service hotel, quality food, drink, very comfortable bed, large bathroom.
Rooms that open onto the pool can be a bit noisy when kids are in the pool for much of the day. A little disappointing that there is no mini bar, for convenience.
-
The lcoation and the quality of the room.
No real complaints
-
The check-in staff were great and the room was excellent.
Nothing - it was a great experience!
-
Great beds - clean comfortable; close to Stanford
Here is what I did not like. At 2:00 A.M. the fire alarm went off. We tried to call the front desk to see what was happening, but there was no answer. People eventually started to evacuate and walked out the exits. No one knew what was happening or where to go as there were no signs in the hallways. The alarm stopped we returned to our room and called the front desk. We were told it was an error by the cleaning crew. We asked if they planned to alert those guests who were outside and they said, "oh that might be a good idea." Thirty minutes later people were still wandering around not knowing what had happened or if it was safe to return. In the moring, there was a letter of apology that suggested we join their rewards program so we could get a few points for our bother. Wow, trying to turn this horrible experience into a sales opportunity? Poorly handled on all fronts. Every customer should have been given a discount or free return night or something. It was awful.

A terrific hotel --- one of the best. Everything very good --staff especially helpful.
